I have a TV in the shop as well. I am the first to admit it that I am spoiled. I just got dish out there recently as well. As for computers, I currently have three. One server, one laptop with two screens that I use for my obcession, the live chat room, along with Slacker Radio. as well as whatever I want to stream or watch, and one for streaming live feeds from the shop.. The other one is kind of old but has a huge screen that still looks great. It cant handle all the streaming and Tweetdeck and chat while watching live streams.. The wife thinks I am crazy for having all the computers out there, but hey, everyone needs a hobby...

Das a lotta stuff! You still have all your fingers?

I am actually amazed how many similarities there are to my current shop! I have a craftsman contractor saw (much older than the one pictured, but the same design) and the same miter saw Marc had, which I bought around that time frame as well. It is also interesting seeing some of the tools and tables that made it into the first group of videos that are on this site.

Hi Marc,

It was interesting seeing your shop progression that has taken place over the last 7 years. Can you tell us how many table saws you have had? Did you go from the Craftsman right to Powermatic, or was that a progression as well?

That was actually a Craftsman contractor saw. Nicole bought it for me as a hint to do some work on the house. I actually didn't even ask for it. So the saw got me thinking about what else I could make. And here I am. :)
