duckkisser
So miters are hard to get right any tips on decent filling of the miter crack that blends into finish coat and wont look discolored.
TimV
If you're talking about the outside edge of a mitre, I like to use a burnisher to roll the edge over so the gap closes. On the faces, god forbid I have gaps there, I will put a drop of yellow glue on the gap then sand around to fill it with dust. Tim
TheNehlsEnd
If the pieces aren't attached yet sometimes you can tighten the gap by making a saw kerf in the joint. Otherwise sawdust mixed with glue make a good filler.

jonny transcend
Just practice and you will get them. Do not settle for filling those gaps!
ChetlovesMer
I generally fill my gaps with tears. It doesn't help hide it or anything, but I find the more expensive or rare the wood used, then the more tears it requires.
