lighthearted
On last nights 'Daily Show', Jon Stewart said he was a woodworker! I am a huge fan. Great minds... Also one of my favorite actors is William H. Macy, who is also a woodworker and turner. I know Jimmy Carter is a big woodworker. When he left office his administration pitched in to buy him tools! Do you know of other well known folks who make sawdust?

jHop
Harrison Ford started out as a carpenter, I believe he still does some wood work. Mark Harmon (NCIS fame) falls into this category. Paul Teutel, Sr. does some wood furniture, not just motorcycles. Captain Phil Harris, before his passing, (Deadliest Catch - Cornelia Marie) made wooden bird hotels/mansions. (Can't really call them just bird houses...)
Tobbe Arnesson
Lars Nyberg is not only a woodworker but also the vice CEO for the central bank of Sweden. He loves to work with something that smells good and reminds him of his childhood, and also that it becomes something that lasts for the future (unlike all the memos he writes that are forgotten in a month at best). He thinks it's the best relaxation in the world.
