JohnnyNoName
I was reading the description of a piece of furniture, and they said it used "Reclaimed Pine and bowdock pegs create a tight, glueless joint.". Does anyone know what a bowdock peg is? Beam | Holler Design Jonathan ==============================================
Rgraham888
I believe that's referring to the type of wood, and I've read that bowdock is an old fashioned name for Osage Orange. Some googling tells me that it's a bastardization of the term Bois D'arc. (Bow-dark)
JohnnyNoName
Oh, so "bowdoc pegs" versus oak or maple pegs. Got it. Thanks! Jonathan ===========================
