nateswoodworks
As I read the artical about the Hand Tool Olimpics I noticed several names that frequent this forum and just wanted to say congrats, not only the winners but to all of those of you you that tried! PaulMarcel
I just want to publicly say that Tom's dovetails ROCKED! Just no appreciation for a creative license... Was very cool meeting Tom and the monkey on his back while at WIA for the first time. The only downside to WIA? I was working it and had 3 separate groups of people that needed visiting... that's a lot of bourbon...
flairwoodworks
I agree 100% with Paul-Marcel.
nikbrown
Yea it was awesome to compete! Watching all the bloggers compete and heckle was throughly entertaining. We all had a blast!
RenaissanceWW
I was relieved to see so many of the bloggers stepping up and competing. There is no doubt that a perception that we talk too much and don't make enough dust out there. Not only did we make some dust, but many took home honors. It was a very cool event this year. The resaw was awesome to try and there is a lot of talk about making the Eastern vs Western style tools competition happen next year. bois
In case I forgot to mention it, I won a Bad Axe tenon saw at WIA. Unfortunately I can't claim it was my tenoning skills that got me there, I just won the drawing. But I can say definitively that my dovetails were better than Tom's
