How acurate must we get?

Hi Marc, Watching your videos has been inspiring for me. After the crosscut sled video, I found myself thinking that the systems I have been using for cutting timber to length, ie. my mitre saw for 10 x 2 timber or using a square and circular saw to cut panels to be way too inadequate. But hey, my furniture that I built 10 years back is still serving very well without signs of collapse, lol. So, to the subject, do you feel that we can get too engrossed in accuracy?

Yes I do. I actually just responded to a question that involved the issue of accuracy that goes into a bit more detail. Check it out here: http://woodtalkonlin...logram-jointer/

Some tools benefit from greater setup accuracy, and some not so much. But I do think we tend to chase our tails much of the time.
