I have a "U" shaped sectional (which I hate) and there really isnt room for any. As far as the design. I actually made another sofa table a while back from plans and absolutely HATED the outcome. The table is now under the right wing of my table saw neatly organizing all the boxes for my router, biscuit joiner, sander etc lol. I decided its best to not work off of plans, they never seem to turn out the way I want them. So I learned a little bit about sketchup and started designing them on my own. I think from now on everything I make will be my design in some shape or form. But again, thanks everyone for your input.
