robjeffking
Too much wood! I save it fr as long as I can sometimes I dig thru it for just the right piece but after I fill up about 2 big cans then I burn it. I wish I could burn it in a stove but Im usually in and out of the shop 3 hrs at a time just not enough time to really get the shop warm before I leave. I would love to hear what you guys do with your scrap

Rick LoDico
With the less expensive species I cut into 1 1/4 X 12 or 14 and use it as kindling in the fireplace. Smaller stuff I burn outside in the fire pit.
nateswoodworks
I have two kids that are very creative so I never have scrap that goes unused), but I do have a lifetimes worth of little cars, people, odds & ends, and flowers that I don't know what to do with!!

Mike M
I cut the bigger pieces into 1/2 x 1/2" strips about 8" long and use them as stickers for my wood stack. The rest of the stuff I toss in a box and give it to a friend with a fireplace to use as kindling.
Vermont Carpentry
I burn pellets. So my scraps go into the empty pellet bags and I distribute them to my neighbors with wood stoves to be used as kindling. Because I also remodel, they get lots of kiln dried spruce also. dwacker
I have a burn pit in the back yard. When my dust collector is full usually twice a week I burn the dust and the scraps that I just throw in a pile on the floor. Don
