tdale51@yahoo.com
Last night I had my first bandsaw blade brake. After I changed my shorts I opened the doors and removed the broken blade. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away though. I couldn't help but think to myself there's got to be a way to "repurpose" it....any ideas? What would you do?
areynoldsre
How about making a small knife blade out of it? Here's a guy that shows how to make a shop knife out of an old band saw blade: http://philroybal.com/blog1/2011/05/07/making-a-shop-knife/

bywc
when my 1/8 and 1/4 inch blades break I cut them up into pieces the same size as my scroll saw blades and use them in my scrollsaw when i need a ridge blade that wont break very easy. I have also used bandsaw blades cut to length to make Thumb piano's they work great for the spring steel.

Mister Pants
Cut bits for a marking knife/gauge (though I usually use jigsaw blades for those), or make a bowsaw and blades for it from broken bandsaw blade
Texfire
How about making a tiara. You can make one for that woodworker in your life. It can be worn teeth up or teeth down, depending on level of masochism at that moment.
