Screamer777 Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 That was my first attempt to make a Chest of drawers. The wood is Imbuia. In fact, it was recycled wood from a cupboard. There was a lot of mistakes I've made. And they are some good learning points. There was a troublesome knot in one of the legs. It shrank and fell out when planning the wood. So there was no way to stabilize the knot as it was damaged beyond repair. I left it like that. IMO it give the dresser more character.
