Titebond II Fluorescent Wood Glue?

Onboard

Recommended Posts

I got some on clearance when the local Woodcraft changed hands. Worked just fine; never did use a UV light although I bet it would be instructive to do so. An interesting tidbit: TBII also glows in UV, but not quite as much as the fluorescent glue. I don't think it would be a waste of money; I might be inclined to use it on very porous woods like Oak if I was planning on staining it

The best solution is to not use Titebond II unless you are making a cutting board or something that is going to get wet. Use Titebond the orginal stuff it isnt water proof so it cleans up very easily with a damp rag. And worst case scenario the original titebond seems to not show as much if a little is left over when finishing.

Just what I have observed.
