Onboard
I know what this glue is for, but is it really worth using over the regular Titebond II? It also costs more than the regular Titebond II.
Pbmaster11
waste of money, imo
PaulMarcel
I got some on clearance when the local Woodcraft changed hands. Worked just fine; never did use a UV light although I bet it would be instructive to do so. An interesting tidbit: TBII also glows in UV, but not quite as much as the fluorescent glue. I don't think it would be a waste of money; I might be inclined to use it on very porous woods like Oak if I was planning on staining it
jimmykx250
I think it's kind of cool. It could save you come finish time. I know from my personal experience that I have come to the finishing stage on several occasions and thought Im good and find out the hard way that I didnt get ALL the glue off. Not sure how much more it is compaired to the regular stuff though.
dcustoms
The best solution is to not use Titebond II unless you are making a cutting board or something that is going to get wet. Use Titebond the orginal stuff it isnt water proof so it cleans up very easily with a damp rag. And worst case scenario the original titebond seems to not show as much if a little is left over when finishing. Just what I have observed.
